Internet and/or TV

Some landlords will arrange internet for you. If you have found a home via Roomspot, the advertisement will have stated whether you are already paying for an internet connection via the service costs. If you don’t remember, you can look it up in the contract. Do you have to arrange internet and / or television yourself? Then you can organise a contract directly with the provider or use comparison websites to find a suitable provider, examples of these are the Consumentenbond or Pricewise. Major providers of internet and TV in the Netherlands are KPN, Ziggo and T-mobile. Before you sign a contract, it is useful to check whether your address has a glasvezel connection. Glasvezel (Fibre to the Home) is an extra fast connection for which you need a special connection in your meter cupboard. Fortunately, many addresses have already been connected to the glasvezel network.
