Work

A lot of students work to earn some (extra) money. Are you one of them? First, it is important to figure out if you are allowed to work in the Netherlands. The University of Twente offers some guidelines for scholarship students regarding working. If you are allowed to work, it is good to know that there are (part-time) jobs in all sectors and at all levels. You can see if you want to work in a store, be a tutor or find a job related to your education. It is important that you do something that suits you. You can call in the help of an employment agency for this. For example, the ASA employment agency is located at the UT and focuses on students looking for a job alongside study, or the University of Twente is sometimes looking for tutors for specific courses.
