If you already know that you will be staying longer than 12 months, it is wise to start your search for a new place to live in early. You can register at Roomspot again once you have settled in The Netherlands. Some of the housing is allocated based on the period during which you have been registered. This means that the person who has been registered the longest at Roomspot is offered the rent of the studio or apartment. Therefore, it wise to register again quickly.
