Registration is very simple and free. You get access to your own online account. You can set filters, so that you receive notifications when new homes are available. New homes are offered regularly by the affiliated corporations. If you are registered with Roomspot you can always respond immediately to rooms and apartments that you are interested in.
Apartments (and studios) are awarded on the basis of a registration period or a drawing system. If you see a nice apartment, log in and respond immediately. All homes you have responded to can be found under "My reactions" in your Roomspot account. The landlord sees all reactions to a home in the system and communicates with the winner of the draw or the person with the longest registration period about the allocation of the apartment or studio.
About Roomspot
Roomspot offers a showcase of properties for two housing corporations: SJHT and De Veste. SJHT focuses on students and young people between 18 and 30 years old with a minimal income. The homes of SJHT are located in Hengelo and Enschede. De Veste only rents to people who are affiliated with a college or university. The homes of De Veste are mainly located on the campus of the University of Twente (which is located exactly between Enschede and Hengelo). Is this music to your ears?
