Are you ready for the next big step in your life? Have you found an interesting course of study that suits you? If you enjoy socialising with people who follow all kinds of different courses of study, cooking together, eating dinner and having a good time, a room in a student house is likely to be something for you. At Roomspot we help you to find your new home.

Roomspot is a partnership between the University of Twente, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the municipality of Enschede and housing corporations SJHT and De Veste. Our mission is simple: to help you quickly and easily find a room, studio or apartment when you live in this beautiful area.

Living in Hengelo

We rent out rooms, studios and apartments in Hengelo. A beautiful and cosy city in Twente, with more than enough cafés, bars and clubs to keep you entertained during your study time. Hengelo is within cycling distance of the campus, so you will certainly get your exercise. And if you would prefer to be a bit lazy rather than tired, public transport between Hengelo, the campus and the centre of Enschede is well organised. Buses and trains regularly go through the campus to the centre of Enschede. So even if you are at a University of Applied Sciences in the centre of Enschede, you can live in Hengelo.

Registration: in no time

You can arrange your registration with Roomspot in an instant and it is free. After you have registered, you can enter the filter criteria, so that you will be automatically informed when new rooms become available that meet your needs. Note that fewer rooms will be offered to you the more filters you include. Responding is not difficult at all: one click is enough. For all rooms that are rented out via Roomspot, the current residents of the house will decide who will be the new occupant.

So ... prepare yourself for a ‘hospiteeravonden’. This means that you and some other people that are interested, are invited for an evening in the apartment. There, you will get to know the current residents and they will decide which person suits their group. So, just be yourself and you will be fine!
